Job Context

Binimoy is a
petrol pump retailing fuel and lubricants under the dealership of
Meghna petroleum limited, since 1953, situated in Motijheel. Over the
years we have been satisfying corporate clients through credit supply.
Job Responsibilities
- Continuously evaluate all credit review and collections processes to mitigate corporate risk and report on all potential corporate exposure due to receivables issues
- Ability to invoke customer action through soliciting, evaluating and acting upon customer interaction
- Minimize bad debt write-offs and maximize cash receipts while being sensitive to internal and external customers
- Direct productivity improvement efforts to ensure all processes are efficient, cost effective, and consistent with overall department practices
- Ability to recognize and research a problem, and to identify its component parts, causes, and cost impact
- Responsible for representing the Collection, Billing and Diversity work for the FSS across cross-functional teams.
- Coordinate activities of staff members to ensure a smooth and efficient department that reduces the number of cases that are overlooked.
- Oversee the collection of outstanding credit and invoices to minimize profit loss while ensuring it is handled appropriately and as per company policy.
- Create and implement strategies to increase the number of successful collections on outstanding debt.
- Recruit, hire, train and evaluate staff members within the collections department to ensure a sufficient number of staff members are available to handle the workload.
- Develop goals that complement the overarching business goals of the company and coordinate staff to continually meet and exceed goals.
- Run reports and analyze data pertaining to the department and share with executive staff and managers of department staff as needed.
- Communicate with clients to build and maintain a strong working relationship and reduce the number of clients who stop working with the company.
- Implement credit policies and procedures that retain a smooth running of the department and avoid excessive credit limits.
- Preparing of weekly/monthly budget for sales, collection, expenses and their variances.

Educational Requirements
- Bachelor degree in any discipline
- Masters in Accounting /Masters in Finance or Management/MBA (Finance/Accounting/Management)
- Skills Required: Report Writing,Accounting,Data Entry
